Dublin Castle

How hot was Saturday! The DC had given the boys a headline following their first spot debut a month earlier, the unseen stress of gigs at this level is punters through the door. August, the Holidays and the heat put the band under more pressure than usual and the air was not only boiling hot, but crackling with tension, so much so, by the time they took the stage it could have gone one of two ways... thankfully and to the obvious delight of assembled compatriots (and the guy on the door seen pogoing!) it worked as a positive catalyst and saw a set of Raw Power, angst riven energy and no little entertainment, with the contagious calm of 'Back to 10' and the brooding Alcohol's a depressant providing the finesse to enhance further the bands growing reputation, without doubt the Scratch's best gig yet... if only some of the 'celebs and industry types' from the next door bar would poke their noses in to see a band who go that important yard further than pure image, they may be able to concentrate on playing and not touting... I'll be at the next one... you'd be mad to miss it ... the rumour is early October ... CU there
